The MIMIC Project 2006

In the basement of De Fabriek in Eindhoven I made the MIMIC project. The MIMIC project contains 10 registrations. In each registration you can see how the space in the basement is transformed by the use of video and videoprojection. With a beamer and a Sony Family Studio I'm drawing the room lightened up by the beamer. The result is a room with a layer like paint. The final projection is full of Glitches and videoloss. By copying the drawing from one tape to another videotape you get a colour- and shape blur. In MIMIC 01 t/m 10 the room is shaking, shivering and transforming.
